Jari Wilson is a Michigan, California, and New York licensed Attorney at Jennifer Ross Business Affairs.

Since joining JRBA, Jari has assisted in supporting clients in a variety of legal matters including licensing, NDAs, location agreements, vendor agreements, MSA and SOW review, IP review and clearance, talent agreements, copyright and trademark research, and legal drafting.

Jari graduated from Saginaw Valley State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Spanish. She earned her Master of Science in Public Relations from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and then worked as a music publicist for several years in Los Angeles and Nashville. Jari received her Juris Doctorate from Michigan State University College of Law, where she served as a Senior Notes Editor on Michigan State Law Review. She was also a student clinician in the Great Lakes First Amendment Law Clinic and taught high school journalists about media law and their First Amendment rights. During law school, Jari interned at NFL Films and her student Note about copyright, digital art, and NFTs was published in the Michigan State Law Review, all of which strengthened and shaped her love for entertainment and IP law. Prior to joining JRBA, she practiced at a boutique law firm and as a solo practitioner in New York City, specializing in serving clients within the entertainment and IP spaces.  

Jari lives in Michigan and enjoys traveling, walking her dog, going to concerts, spending time with family and friends, reading, and talking about all things pop culture.
